Thaís Mendonça is a Brazilian journalist and a diver who became a photographer. Living on islands for a great period of her life, now she's in Maui, Hawaii, capturing the beauty of that place in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Sometimes above the water and sometimes under, she uses natural light to bring to her images a felling of connection, fluidity, and calmness that could only come from being surrounded by nature.
